In partnership with Women in Aviation International, Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology is excited to announce that it will host its first annual Girls in Aviation Day on Friday, October 12, 2018. Female high school students from the St. Louis region will be invited to attend the event in order to learn more about the aviation industry and related career opportunities. The event will welcome 80 students to the Parks College hangar at the St. Louis Downtown Airport, and will include hands-on aviation activities, a career expo, and a luncheon featuring a female aviator keynote speaker.

The event will follow the schedule outlined below:
8:30 – 9:00 – Check In
9:00 – 11:00 – Aviation Activities, including flight simulators and preflighting aircraft
11:00 – 12:00 – Career Expo
12:00 – 1:30 – Luncheon and Keynote Speaker
1:30 – Conclusion and Check Out
