February Luncheon – Parks College: Educating Tomorrow’s Leaders

Guest Speaker:

Dr. Michelle Sabick, Dean of Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology at Saint Louis University



Parks College will offer tours of the CRJ (jet simulator) and the Air Traffic Control Lab, and discuss Air Certificate #1 – as Parks College is the first flight school certified in the United States!


CRJ 700 Lab: In the CRJ 700 lab, senior-level students learn to fly simulated regional jet routes and use Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) scenarios as part of their training.





Air Traffic Control Lab: The Air Traffic Control Lab is used for students wanting to learn more about the ATC side of the aviation industry.  Students taking the ATC courses earn a minor in Air Traffic Control.



This luncheon will be held at the Rotunda, McDonnell Douglas Hall on SLU’s campus, 3450 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103.  Parking is available at street meters and also in the Olive/Compton Garage at a rate of $2 per hour/maximum of $6.



$15 for Members, $20 for Non-Members, No Charge for GSLBAA Student Members.
